Goodbye Europe...hello Asia!

Dear families and friends,

it is not even a week ago that we have left Europe but it already feels very far away.
Below you can see me (Oliver) with my thesis co-writer Ella and our professor Joachim after the successful defense of the master thesis. Thanks again to everybody who could make it that night!



On Monday we arrived in Bangkok and stayed there until Friday, which was almost too much time in this chaotic city.
Bangkok offers a lot of nice food and we tried everything that was not crawling anymore. Besides that we have been seeing Wat Phra Kaew and Wat Pho, two huge temples. Visited the Lumphini park where we ate a lot of delicious fruits. Had a trip to Siam square with the shopping centres, to Chinatown - well, we have been around.



Yesterday we arrived in Krabi. We decided to take a stop of two nights here, before we go to Koh Lanta tommorow. Originally, we planned to go to Koh Phi Phi first but it seems to be quite booked right now. Today we did a Kayak Tour in the area.
